TOWNHOUSE REFURBISHMENT

Braid Avenue, Edinburgh

 

Many period features of our client’s terraced townhouse in Morningside remained intact, and it was clear that although property required some modernization, it was generally in good shape.

 

Our efforts were largely concentrated around the ground floor room, as we were tasked with improving the kitchen and its relationship to the garden.

 

The removal of a dining room wall opened up the space entirely. French doors replaced an existing window, improving the quality of light in the room and providing new glimpses outside. Now as one enlarged space, the kitchen functions really well at the heart of the family home.
