HOUSE EXTENSION
Redhall House Avenue, Colinton
Despite this being a recently built modern house with generous accommodation throughout, it was clear that the open-plan kitchen area wasn’t quite in proportion to the rest of the property.
A simple, fully glazed ‘lean-to’ now provides a comfortable extended living space overlooking the garden, and provides a direct connection to outside from the kitchen and family room. The increase in floor area is modest, but its effect on the internal space is considerable.
